About Conference
Renewable
energy and energy efficiency investments can produce significant benefits,
including lower fuel and electricity costs, increased grid reliability, better
air quality and public health, and more job opportunities. Nations across the
world are increasingly adopting and updating policies and programs that
encourage energy efficiency and renewable energy to achieve their energy,
environmental, and economic goals.
Renewable
energy solutions are becoming cheaper, more reliable and more efficient every
day. Our current reliance on fossil fuels is unsustainable and harmful to the
planet, which is why we have to change the way we produce and consume energy.
Implementing these new energy solutions as fast as possible is essential to
counter climate change, one of the biggest threats to our own survival.
Global
Summit on Renewable Energy – REN25 – which will be held in Venice, Italy from
June 16-18, 2025 aims to bring together energy, environmental, and economic
policy makers and analysts from across the world to identify and quantify the
many benefits of energy efficiency and renewable energy to support the
development and implementation of cost-effective energy efficiency and
renewable energy initiatives. The theme of the conference is Renewable
Energy : Trends and Insights for Tomorrow.
This
conference will discuss the multiple benefits of energy efficiency and
renewable energy and explains the value of quantifying these benefits. It also
describes tools and resources available for quantifying each type of benefit.
REN25 offers
a wonderful opportunity for professionals from industry and academia to share
their ideas, knowledge and experiences in the form of discussions, debates,
live interactions, workshops, poster presentations and brainstorming sessions.
Speakers
will talk about how to understand emergent behavior of complex integrated
human/natural systems and will provide deep insights on renewable energy
involving different aspects of technology, environment and economy. The
sessions will further enhance the participants’ knowledge to proceed in their
profession and career.
The conference will focus on:
- The latest information about the methods analysts can use and the available tools that support them
- Presenting steps to quantify benefits and make it easier to understand the process
- Recent real-life examples and case studies where benefits have been quantified
- Mandatory or voluntary energy efficiency resource standards or targets
- Energy efficiency programs for individuals or businesses
- Mandatory or voluntary renewable portfolio standards (RPSs)
